Finance Officer - Fixed Term Post from 01.10.21 to 31.08.22

Based at Trust's Central Offices in Wantage

Grade 7 £22,021 - £23,836

Closing Date Noon 9th August 2021 / Interviews 12th - 17th August

The Vale Academy Trust is looking to appoint a fixed term Finance Officer role to work in our Finance Team. This is a critical role to pick up a variety of finance issues, including purchase orders, invoice payment and sales invoices. In addition this role will assist with query resolution from suppliers and budget holders as well as processing credit card statements and expenses.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Financial experience in a school or public sector environment
  • An ability to communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Good excel skills

Finance Assistant - Fixed Term, Term Time Only, 25 hrs a week from October 2021 to July 2022

Grade 4 £18,933 - £19,312 pa

The Vale Academy Trust is looking to appoint a part time fixed term Finance Assistant to work in our Finance Team. The post will be key in ensuring a consistent approach is taken to the processing of invoices and liaison with new and existing suppliers. The role will also play an active part in dealing with queries from budget holders and other staff regarding orders and deliveries.
